ACT 6 is the sixth annual AIDS Network Cycles Together, the Wisconsin AIDS bike ride, to raise funds and awareness for AIDS Network. Our goals are to provide a ride that is a substantial challenge for all levels of riders, but is at the same time fun and safe. Educate the community, raise awareness, and teach tolerance about HIV/AIDS. And finally, raise the highest possible return to AIDS Network.
ACT 6 will cover four days and 300 miles on a bike. The riders are 100% supported before and during the ride.

Make pledges for ACT 6 participants online at Active.com or download a pledge form and mail it to AIDS Network with your check.
 To encourage having fun on the ride each day has a theme. Get creative, share some of your ideas and resources with other riders. Get everyone in the ACT.
Day 1 ACT 6 Day – wear your black ACT 6
t-shirt or ACT 6 Commemorative Jersey if
you reached that incentive level. Don't forget your new ribbon rider socks!
Day 2 Mardi Gras Day – Dig up all your purple, green and gold beads from past celebrations. Feel free to get really
wild on this day!
Day 3 Wisconsin Day – Think cows or cheeseheads, Packers or Badgers, Harleys, cranberries, or gnomes!
Day 4 Red Day -- Be part of a moving, breathing red ribbon in memory of those we have lost to AIDS. Wear a red shirt, red tank top or a red jersey (remember that red ACT 5 t-shirt you got last summer? This is the day to wear it.) Let's get every rider in red this year.
Look up the cheering station locations and come out to cheer for our riders and crew.

On-line Registration for ACT 6 is now available through Active.com for both riders and crew. You can also download this Registration Form and register for ACT 6 by sending the completed registration form to AIDS Network along with your check. More than 190 participants have already registered for ACT 6, August 7-10, 2008.
Training rides outdoors are scheduled every day of the week. Check the ride calendar for specific times and start locations. On some days we will have more than one ride to choose from.

Who is AIDS Network?
Since 1985, the AIDS Network (formerly the Madison AIDS Support Network) has provided critical AIDS care and prevention services to south central Wisconsin. We are sustained in these efforts by the resources, expertise and passion of hundreds of volunteers and donors. Working together we strive to meet the increasing needs that HIV disease and AIDS place before us.
